Marketing Assistance Ltd has carried out transport surveys on both buses and trains. These have focussed on the operation of the particular form of transport or the perception of users to the service being provided.
Surveys include satisfaction and standards of performance research using a variety of research techniques including street, on bus and train, in-home interviewing, telephone interviewing and mystery shopping.
Coupled to this may be a survey testing the way phone enquiries are handled. The results are used to develop transport strategies and to develop staff training programmes.
